Hi, I’m Stevie.

I’m a Brisbane-based resin artist creating abstract works inspired by movement, colour, texture, and experimentation.

Creativity has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. When I was a child, my dad was an artist, and one of the memories I hold onto is sitting with him as he taught me about the colour wheel. I lost him when I was young, but that early connection to art and colour stayed with me.

Today, creating art is one of the ways I continue to feel connected to him. There’s something meaningful to me about experimenting with colour, learning how different tones interact, and making something with my own hands — knowing that creativity was something we shared.

I don’t create art as a production line. Many of my pieces are part of an ongoing process of experimentation and self-expression. My work explores the interplay of pigments, metallics, transparencies and organic flow, allowing the materials to move and interact in ways that can never be completely replicated.

Art is both a creative outlet and a way of understanding the world around me. It gives me somewhere to slow down, focus deeply, experiment, and turn ideas, emotions and experiences into something tangible.

Thank you for supporting independent art and for being part of my creative journey.
